Federal law gives you the right to control how certain information related to your Etex services is used. Etex Telephone Cooperative, Inc. and its affiliate company, Etex Communications, LLC (“Etex”), have a duty to protect the confidentiality of this information.
Customer Proprietary Network Information (CPNI) includes information about the telecommunications services you receive from Etex, such as service type, technical arrangements, usage, and billing details.
An affiliate company is a company that is owned by or under common control with Etex, meaning it is part of the same overall organization.
Etex may share your CPNI only with its affiliate company, Etex Communications, LLC, to inform you about additional Etex services or promotions you do not currently receive. Important: Etex does NOT sell your information and does NOT share it with unrelated third parties.
You have a choice. You may allow or restrict this use of your CPNI. If you do nothing, Etex will treat your silence as approval to use your CPNI only as described above. If you prefer that we not use your CPNI for this purpose, you may opt out. Opting out will NOT affect your current services but will prevent Etex from informing you of promotions or other services you do not already have.

Written notices should include your account name, associated telephone number, and a statement requesting Etex to “restrict use of my CPNI.”
If we do not receive your opt-out request within 30 days, we will assume your approval.
Your choice will remain in effect until you change it. Etex will provides these notices every two years.
