Cooperative Membership Means Ownership<\/h3>\r\nAt Etex Telephone Cooperative, we are more than just a company. As a Cooperative, we operate on a non-profit basis, and this means we share growth and success with our members. Our members are more than just customers; in fact, members are investors and co-owners of the cooperative.
\r\n
\r\nWith your ongoing support, we can continue to provide our area communities with quality service and advanced technology. As a co-op member, you deserve to share in the pride of working together to play a major role in the improvement of life in East Texas.
\r\n
\r\nIn order to become a member of Etex you must have telephone service from Etex. We require a membership application to be completed in our Gilmer or Ore City office. Every member is required to pay a $10.00 Cooperative membership fee. A deposit may be required for new customers.\r\n
\r\n
\r\n\r\n\r\n

Etex District Map<\/h3>\r\n\"map_district\"\r\n\r\nDistrict 1\r\nTHAT area of the Pritchett Exchange being located East of U. S. Highway 271, and that area of the Pine Acres Exchange being located South of State Highway 154.

\r\nDistrict 2\r\nTHAT area of the Pine Acres Exchange being located North of State Highway 154, and that area of the Ore City Exchange being located South of Nasturtium Road and Farm Road 450, except that area thereof that is located within the corporate limits of Ore City.

\r\nDistrict 3\r\nTHAT area of the Rosewood Exchange being located North of Farm Road 49, plus that area being located West of Farm Road 1002.

\r\nDistrict 4\r\nALL that area being served by the Bettie Exchange, plus that area of the Ore City Exchange and Mims Exchange being located North of State Highway 155.

\r\nDistrict 5\r\nTHAT area of the Rosewood Exchange being located South of Farm Road 49, except that area being located West of Farm Road 1002, and that area of the Pritchett Exchange being located West of U. S. Highway 271.
