A telephone scamming attack is underway to collect your private information. Scammers like these are simply taking the time to prey on potential victims by masquerading as a representative of Etex to trick you into giving up valuable and personal information. The caller may state that you have won a free phone or that your phone is being charged for calls being made out of the country. These claims are false and are only attempting to scam you for your private information. You’re advised to hang up on these calls. Etex will never call you to ask for your account or your credit card information over the phone.

Congratulations to these Etex Prize Winners!

We would like to say ‘Thank You’ to the Etex Telephone Coop members who attended our Annual Meeting Tuesday, April 10, 2010. Re-elected officials, Lindley Hagler and Gaston DeBerry, graciously accepted their renewed titles as board members. Door prizes were awarded, members enjoyed entertainment from Shake Rattle and Roll, and we discussed topics that will affect our company and its members as a whole. Grand prize winner and loyal Etex customer, Sarah Fort, took home a 37” VIZIO flat screen TV as a door prize. We sincerely appreciate all who participated to help make a difference in our coop.

We wore our walking shoes and smiles as teams from all over East Texas gathered to participate in the 2010 Relay for Life. Every person at the event celebrated with those who have fought and survived cancer, it was a memorable time.

We want to thank everyone who came out to our Customer Appreciation Day celebrations, held June 3rd at the Ore City office and June 4th at the Gilmer office. In true Texas fashion, we threw a big party to show our gratitude to all our customers who support our growing business.
